Wicked Compannion
04:07
|
|||
you've gone along with me this far • you slow me down, when I make progress • you try to push me more, when I want less • you keep me choked, I cannot breathe
you blur my eyes, so I cannot see • but I feel your scornful glimpse on me and I can't take it anymore
I won't wait until nothing is left of me • why are you still here, now that no more can be done?
though it could have lasted forever, the decay has already begun • a dead end is still a road on which you can keep heading toward your goals, but you won't reach them • the final close awaits you • I'm just a tool for you • you make me work as you like • I'm a puppet in your hands • you've exposed yourself, you cannot hide • I'm here to nourish you you're my parasite • you've wasted enough of my time • I have to say good bye • so I stare into the mirror, just to see your face for the last time • a broad smile that fails to reach the eyes defiantly winks down on me • good bye, my wicked self • I owe you a lot of perceptions • but from now on, I'll proceed alone and I'm glad about it

Callous Glance
03:10
|
|||
hopes and dreams lie buried in the ground, far below, unreachable • though we can face the truth with eyes unbound, our hearts are
still like graves • so we wander, like walking dead, looking at the world with a callous glance • and so we wander and deliberately
ignore, living our life, as if it doesn't concern us • don't we want to strain our conscience or do we just not care? • to prevent this
world from its decay, break down the fortress of indifference • but if we proceed, immured in this golden hell, entrenched behind
these walls, our hearts will never be free • hopes and dreams lie buried in the ground, apparently unreachable • precisely because
we can face the truth with eyes unbound, our hearts should be unclenched • if compassion hides beneath the surface, we just tought
to dig for it • but when the first ground won't be broken, how can we reveal this long forgotten treasure? • don't we want to strain
our conscience or do we just not care? to prevent this world from its decay, break down the fortress of indifference

The Chase
05:24
|
|||
we keep the target in our sight, like we've been taught since we were young • a restless hunt begins, once we step into this world •
we're aiming at success and are forced to shoot first • although we've come so far, we still gotta take it all • we're striving for the
top and won't be satisfied with less • we've been told that we can seize the world • when the highest crests are calling, who wants
to admire its drawing beauty only from afar? • but all too easy, bothered by expectations, we betake ourselves on onerous ascents
and some will fall astray • "it might be a hard way to achieve your aims and the rat race becomes faster everyday • push or being
pushed aside • if your not strong enough, you'll be left behind" • we keep the target in our sight, like we've been taught, since we
were young • so we proceed this chase and let society decide on what's desirable in life

Focus
03:35
|
|||
facing a new dawn, we feel prepared, all plans are done • we accept the challenges that are about to come • we've forged ahead thus
far so many times • if we're geared up and ready to go, an open door may lead us to our goals • why shouldn't we stride through? •
if we're ready to move on, what should stop us now? • we've forged ahead thus far so many times • abounded with abandon and it
felt alright • but time after time, again and again, we surrendered before treading our way and we decided to waste another day •
caught in the bleakness of a drab everyday life • we're stuck in this rut, so how should/can we ever arrive? • life is movement • so we
shouldn't remain, watching time slipping away • we just have to stride through that open door • we're ready to move on/go • what
should stop us now? we've forged ahead thus far so many times • abounded with abandon and it felt alright • but time after time,
again and again, we surrendered before treading our way and we decided to waste another day

Dark Clouds Gather
03:18
|
|||
ignorance is pouring out of you • how can this be? • you should reflect about yourself to deliver us from it • you look for blame, but
who's responsible? • you choose the easy way and trace the wrong paths, 'cause they're already beaten • where dark clouds gather,
you're not far, you're in on it to emulate someone else's deeds • when I listen to you, I get sick • it makes me doubt your sanity • so how
bad have you been treated, to treat someone like that? • you crowd the streets, saying you're just concerned citizens, but your
efforts only prove your inhumanity • is this what you get, when fear meets stupidity? • you ignore all facts, you don't listen to reason,
what you say just shows your lack of empathy • what you do, what you say, your efforts prove your inhumanity • your rage, your
hatred, the prejudice you call concern • your ignorance, you blame the wrong ones • when I listen to you, I get sick it • makes me
doubt your sanity • so how bad have you been treated, to treat someone like that

Frail Hack
04:18
|
|||
once again you've gone astray • you're searching for a path, on which you can retrace your steps • deeply loaded on a weary road •
where are the signs that guide you on your way? the same old story of wasted time and broken dreams • don't look back, because
the past remains unchanged • what's expecting you at the end of the road and what will you leave behind? • can you fulfill your
dreams? • who knows, but isn't it worth a try? • never mind, your cart's been dragged by a frail hack • just make sure you take up the
reins • sometimes it needs a push or persuasion to make it run and lead you away • whatever expects us at the end of the road • we can
fulfill our dreams • it's always worth a try

Burst The Shell
04:05
|
|||
captured in silence, hidden at this place • lost in solitude, you're floating through the days • there's a dream, grown from hope, a wish for wings that work • but you remain in your cocoon, 'cause you fear the outside world • burst your shell, spread your wings, show your beauty to the world • burst your shell my little grub • come outside, feel the sun • its strength will last to warm you too • a choice has to be made, if you don't want to drown in life again • you may win, you may lose • no one knows in the end burst your shell, spread your wings, show your beauty to the world • burst your shell my little grub
come outside, feel the sun • its strength will last to warm you too • just come outside and embrace life
even if things may go wrong and life is playing dirty tricks on you • hold on for a moment, take a deep breath and start something new • look straight ahead and sooner or later you'll find what you seek
you can't always be concerned about the chances you missed out • watch for these new days come knocking at your door • burst your cocoon to see what's concealed behind these walls • come outside, feel the sun • its strength will last to warm you too • just come outside and embrace life

Lost Ground
04:41
|
|||
a shadow covers me, as I wake up from a haze • I stumble through the depths of my memories, looking for your face • back in reality, I can't reach you anymore • what remains is to remember the time we've spent and all we've shared before • a new dawn has broken • the world has kept on spinning relentlessly, but I was left behind in the dark • a weak moon is still lightening my thoughts, but it's
going to fade away • the night has forced its way into my life and I feel that I`ve lost ground • everything seems so much darker when you're not around • I can`t believe that I`ve lost you • I`d throw it all away, just to have you here • I can`t believe that I`ve lost you, but I`ll throw it all away, to see you again
since you've been gone, I'm lost in this world • but I'm on my way back home • the world keeps
on spinning without us • what tore us apart will reunite us soon • a new dawn has broken • the world has kept on spinning relentlessly, but I was left behind in the dark • a weak moon is still lightening my thoughts, but it's going to fade away, just like the memories of you and me

Monday Evenings
04:11
|
|||
monday evening, 6pm • we are the nation of the blind and dumb • just grab your flag and the banner with the pithy hook to declaim against the helpless and the weak • how can you let yourself get carried away by such disgraceful and intolerant beliefs • your “facts“ have been disproved a thousand times, but you still feel justified • you’re the owner of truth • but not this time • we are here and we stay alert • we will never ever look away • we are here and we'll stand up for what's right monday evening, 6pm • we are humans and we shout it out • let's help the helpless and bid the world welcome • not this time we are here and we stay alert we will never ever look away • we are here and we'll stand up for what's right • it's promised we are here and we stay alert • we will never ever look away • we are here and we'll stand up for what's right
